Rules for submitting a plant to the judged show
No field-collected specimens are permitted.
Plants must be placed on the show benches by 9pm on Friday, April 11th. No plants will be accepted for judging after that time unless prior arrangements have been made with the head clerk, Phyllis Milano
(pmilano4487@charter.net, 203-610-0582).CCSS reserves the right to reject any plants that may be infected and/or suffering from infestation.
All plants entered must have been in the exhibitor's possession for at least 6 months prior to the show.
An entry card (provided at the venue at drop-off or available for download here) must be completely filled out for each plant and placed with the plant. Please make sure the exhibitor's name does not show. If the plant was windowsill-grown or grown from seed, please note CLEARLY on the card. Give age of plant, if known.
Exhibitors are asked not to be in the show area during judging. A judge exhibiting a plant in any class is asked not to judge in that class.

Condition: 75 pts
Staging: 20 pts
Nomenclature: 5 pts
