ABOUT US

The Connecticut Cactus & Succulent Society (CCSS) was founded in 1979 with the mission to unite enthusiasts and experts in plant conservation, education, and appreciation. Our club is open to anyone with a passion for cacti and succulents as we strive to offer an inclusive and welcoming environment where like-minded people can connect and form community.

Our monthly meetings - hosted all over the state - feature engaging programs with lectures and workshops by noted cacti and succulent experts. We also offer additional resources to our members who are truly dedicated to the plant-lover lifestyle!

Additionally, for the past 44 years, we have hosted the most prominent cactus and succulent Annual Show & Sale in the Northeast - an event featuring independent vendors, a juried show, lectures, and more!
